Brooke County Scho: Good evening everyone! As you know, there have been threats against schools all across the country in recent days. We learned late this afternoon, that a few students had viewed a social media post that made a threat to Brooks School. This threat was turned over to Brooke County Sheriff's department and it was discovered to be a school in Texas. Brooke County Sheriffs Department and Brooke County Schools PRO's are fully aware of the situation and have determined this is not considered to be a credible threat to Brooke County Schools. We always place the safety and security of our students.

Goood afternoon. The residents of Vincent Lane have voiced some concerns about the school traffic near their homes at dismissal. One concern was speeding, as many residents have small children. Another concern was blocking of driveways and garages. The residents also request that vehicles do not use their driveways to turn around. A Brooke County Sheriffs Deputy will be monitoring traffic. We want to be respectful to the residents of Vincent Lane while maintaining a quick and orderly dismissal for our students. Thank you for your attention to this and your cooperation.
